Egg Donor Recipients – Egg Donation Program for Patients from Canada

Our egg donor program has helped recipients such as infertile women and gay couples in Vancouver, Toronto, and throughout Canada conceive for 20 years. A unique service not offered by fertility clinics in Canada, patients travel to us because our clinic focuses on providing an efficient and thorough egg donation process. During the egg donation process, a fertile woman’s healthy mature eggs are fertilized with sperm. The fertilized eggs are then implanted into the infertile woman or surrogate and carried through full-term pregnancy. Anonymous egg donors benefit gay and straight couples alike, helping those who do not have healthy eggs conceive a child. Contact IVF New Jersey to schedule a consultation.

Who is an Egg Donation Recipient Candidate

Egg donor recipients are women who are infertile or otherwise cannot conceive through natural processes. The best candidates to receive donor eggs are women with an otherwise healthy uterus who have tried and failed to become pregnant through the use of other infertility treatments such as over-the-counter fertility drugs or surgery to correct endometriosis or tubal obstructions. Women who are unable to produce eggs or produce poor-quality eggs are also good candidates to be egg donor recipients. Our egg donation program benefits patients from Toronto, Vancouver, and cities throughout Canada. If you interested in scheduling a consultation to determine whether you are a candidate to receive a donor egg, please contact IVF New Jersey today.

Selecting a Donor

Our egg donors are made up of healthy women – college students and otherwise – who have completed our thorough screening process and wish to donate their fertile eggs. We understand that choosing a donor is an important decision that can become a daunting process. The egg donor selection process is made easier with the help of our experienced donor coordinator, who matches a donor with a recipient. Learn more about selecting a donor.

Egg Retrieval

After the egg donor selection process is complete, the donor and recipient prepare for egg retrieval. The egg retrieval process improves the chances of a successful pregnancy by preparing the recipient’s body to accept the fertilized donor eggs. While the donor receives hormones to encourage the ovary to expel eggs, the recipient takes hormones to mimic those that naturally occur in pregnant women. Learn more about egg retrieval.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

One of the most common fertility procedures, in vitro fertilization (IVF) allows only healthiest sperm and eggs to create fertilized embryos. IVF is used to implant the healthiest eggs into the uterus for fertilization – whether these eggs are yours or come from a donor – to help ensure a successful pregnancy. Learn more about IVF.

Embryo Transfer and After Care

Embryo transfer occurs at the end of the IVF process, when the recipient’s uterus is prepared and ready to receive the fertilized embryos. During this painless procedure, the embryos are implanted into the uterus. The after care includes what to expect while you are waiting to confirm a pregnancy.
