The initial evaluation of an infertile couple requires both male and female testing. The male partner is evaluated by a semen or sperm analysis. The female partner is evaluated by an assessment of her ovarian reserve, which includes blood testing as well as ultrasounds in addition to an assessment of her anatomy. The survey of the anatomy can be done through histosalpingogram or an HSG, which looks at the shape of the uterus as well as the fallopian tubes. All these tests can be done here in our facility.
